Overview
Photoelectrochemistry is a promising method to directly convert sunlight into chemical energy, such as green hydrogen. Photoelectrochemical systems for efficient solar energy conversion are facing several problems, including (1) sluggish surface oxygen evolution reaction (OER), (2) severe charge carrier recombination at bulk/interface, and (3) poor photostability. My research focuses on the design of photoeletrochemical system to address these issue for efficient solar energy conversion.Â
In addition, I am also interested in exploring the alternative oxidation/reduction method to produce valuable chemical energy, such as NOxRR, Biomass conversion, CO2RR, and iodide oxidation (IOR).
