I often get asked what paper I recommend. For regular copy paper this 5 ream case of paper is one of the better deals. For cardstock I really like this card stock paper on amazon. It is much cheaper than I have found in stores and has a good thickness for most projects without being so thick that it jams the printer.

Sometimes copy-work can be boring, or not engaging enough for the creative child, so this merges that need for art exploration with a more structured activity like tracing the letters. It is a nice go-to when you need to teach the alphabet to a reluctant learner!

Even if your child is not yet ready for this structured activity of learning to write the alphabet with cotton swab, painting with cotton swabs is a nice alternative to paint brushes. Since it is easy to use multiple colors and simple to clean up!

No-prep compliments coloring pages with alphabet tracing & kid-friendly friendship quotes. Kids practice letter formation & improve reading, writing, spelling, & fine motor skills as they compliment classmates when giving them their artwork.

Flourishing can be difficult to learn, but I promise you with lots of practice you will be creating beautiful flourishes! I highly recommend using a Fudenosuke Hard Tip Brush Pen, and even a MONO Drawing Pencil to practice with. The tracing paper is very smooth, which makes it feel like your pencil and pen are just gliding over the page.

Kids of all ages can get in extra writing practice with these grooved letter tracing books. The grooved design makes it easy for children to practice writing with guidance. Since the ink disappears, they are able to continue their progress as they complete the page multiple times.

Not all handwriting books for toddlers to school-aged children contain pages dedicated to line tracing shapes and drawings. This keeps handwriting practice for kids fun and engaging. It is also important because until they learn all the letters, and how to spell, children typically draw to express their creativity.

Naturally, a handwriting workbook contains number and letter tracing practice. However, Clever Eli includes manuscript letters as well so that kids who aren't quite ready to tackle a harder handwriting cursive workbook can practice printing before learning to write.

Special grooves embossed on good quality cardboard paper make both print cursive handwriting practice feel much easier. Unlike dot to dot tracing books, our indented writing book guides the child's hand. Through our print and cursive practice book children will improve their fine motor skills, writing skills, and develop more confidence in their writing ability.

Many schools introduce handwriting books for 3rd grade students who are usually between 7 and 9 years old. By this stage, most young ones have practiced pen control, line tracing and developed the motor skills for writing letters with loops and strokes to make each letter flow. Cursive handwriting books can help children this age develop their skills even further.

Writing books for toddlers and the slightly more advanced handwriting books for preschoolers are just as important to help early learners practice letter formation by tracing letters, learning to trace numbers and build confidence at this young age.

Our wooden alphabet tracing board with upper case letters is designed for learning the alphabet and supporting manual skills of the child. The depth and width of the letters are perfectly sized to little fingers. Arrows drawn next to each letter show the direction of finger tracing. The child starts at the dot and moves the finger in the direction pointed by the arrow. Working with the board supports the child's development and provides a pleasant sensory experience.

The board is intended for children from 3 years of age and can easily accompany them throughout their education. Already in preschool age, children show an interest in letters, like signing their artworks and writing short words. The board is also a great educational aid for older children. In addition to consolidating the knowledge of the alphabet, it is fun: you can pour rice into the letters, stick modelling clay into the grooves or trace them over on a piece of paper with a pencil.

Salt trays are motivating and exciting for kids and they LOVE using a salt tray to practice forming letters. Using a salt tray for writing letters provides a wonderful sensory experience and gives kids a low-stress opportunity to practice writing the letters of the alphabet.

I really love the idea of using a pointer finger for letter tracing so that kids get a better sensory experience. This gives them more sensory input for multi-sensory learning. However, kids can use a variety of tools to practice making letters.

These printable Alphabet Tracing Worksheets are the perfect way to introduce students to writing letters! We love letters and find it so exciting as our students begin learning the alphabet and these worksheets are the perfect way to start!

Students will be using the worksheets to identify the uppercase letter, practice tracing the letter, and then writing the letter on their own. Then they are ready for tracing words and sentences that go with each particular letter they are working on.

Through tracing, your toddler will also learn how to create movements that he can use to draw pictures on his own. Tracing curved lines, for example, will eventually lead to him drawing a curved line on his own, which he can use to make a rainbow.
