Urban fabric in Kuala Lumpur metropolitan area having a remarkable evolution into a modern and eclectic style from its historic built heritage, while some of the historical urban village area such as Kampung Datuk Keramat still remain the deteriorate enclave image to continuity presence in the urban setting. Approach will be integrated the urban local character with contemporary hosing design, to revive the distinctive character, image and building fabric of urban village while simultaneously addressing the evolving contemporary needs.
