The CTUS-X visualizer is the Chinese version of the ATUS-X Diary Visualizer for the Ageing Time Use Project and part of the GenTime Project, initially developed by Prof. Man-yee Kan (Department of Sociology, University of Oxford) and Dr. Kamila Kolpashnikova. The CTUS-X demonstrates the Chinese older adults' time-use patterns in a daily course using time diary data from the China Time Use Survey (CTUS) conducted by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) of China through interactive diagrams such as tempograms, transitions, and paths graphs, which helps us to understand how Chinese elderly spent their own time in weekday and weekend day.
