I am a professor under the division of production and service operations management in the College of Business Administration in The University of Seoul and earned my Ph.D. degree in May 2010 in Industrial Engineering at the Pennsylvania state university (Advisor: Dr. Tao Yao). My research interests are uncertainty modeling in various areas, such as economics, business and engineering areas. More specifically, I am working on various issues related to Investment Decision under uncertainty (Investment Analysis with Real Option Theory, Contract Theory in Supply Chain, Operations Management with Robust Optimization) and Energy (Energy Policy, Economic Analysis, Smart Grid, Business and Operations Model, Dynamic Pricing in Energy).

I received my dual master degree in Industrial Engineering and Operational Research at the Pennsylvania State University in August 2005 under advices of Dr. Natajaran Gautam. Also, I majored the Industrial Engineering at Seoul National University in Korea.
