Deadlight - Surreal Short Film in Berlin

Deadlight is a surreal short film that explores a dreamy and psychological inside the mind of Ahora. The film blends cinematic storytelling with emotional depth, creating a unique visual expirience.

Logline:

Ahora is on a life search for love and identity, lost in unknown surrounding. As she struggles with drug depence and suicidal thoughts, fragments of her past and war expiriences pull her between hope and despair.

This independent film production will be created in Ballhaus Prinzenallee, unsing creative lighting design as a core storytelling element. The project features actress Fatima Kalantari and will filmed with the Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K to achie a cinematic visual style.

With a minimal crew and experimental approach, Deadlight represents a new wave of independent filmmaking in Berlin.

LOVE at FIRST CRIME

A Psychological Crime Short Film

Love at First Crime by Lokesh Kummar is a gripping psychological short film that explores the powerful influence of mafia structures on public perception and personal choices. Set against a tense social and political backdrop, the film examines how fear, corruption, and truth collide in modern society.

Synopsis:

Leon is a psychologically withdrawn young man, deeply affected by the traumatic loss of his father during childhood. Emotionally detached from the world around him, he prioritizes only his closest circle, while everything else fades into background noise.

His life takes decisive turn when he meets Eva, an investigative journalist determined to uncover the truth behind series of mysterious deaths linked to a high-ranking government official. The case involved a corrupt minister whose medical supply business is suspected of causing fatal consequence among children.

As Eva gets closer to exposing the truth, she becomes a target of powerful mafia forces. Leon is forced to comfort his inner conflict: remain passive or take action. In a world shaped by manipulation and fear, he can no longer stand aside.

This project brings together a team of over 20 people passionate and professional filmmakers based in Berlin. We are committed to creating a cinematic and emotionally engaging story with strong visual storytelling.
