Master Douglas Arnold began his TKD journey in 1980's under, the then, Mr. Lang.
Now, with over 45 years in the art, Master Arnold has practiced Taekwon-Do all over the world, sharing his expertise and passion for the discipline globally. He’s been a part of the US Team for the World Games and has competed internationally and all across the United States. He has served as the Head Instructor of several Taekwon-Do schools, including Front Range Taekwon-Do, ACC Taekwon-Do, ACME Taekwon-Do, and YCTA California: passing along his knowledge to hundreds of students of the years
Master Arnold, alongside other founding members such as Master Walter Lang, Mr. Floyd Griffin, Mr. Steve Blakeley, and Mr. Jerry Treich, aimed to create an organization that would outlast its founders and avoid the pitfalls of traditional martial arts governance models.
As an 8th Degree black belt, Master Arnold has played a pivotal role in developing and refining the association. His extensive teaching experience has been instrumental in ensuring that the essence of Taekwon-Do is preserved while allowing for practical evolution in instruction.

Master Dan Kohler began the study of martial arts in 1987 with the Korean Karate Federation in Salt Lake City, Utah. Prior to becoming a member of the Yom Chi TaeKwon-Do Association (YCTA), Master Kohler was affiliated with the International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF). He has attended several seminars and international instructor courses taught by Grandmaster Choi Hong Hi, the Founder of Taekwon-Do and 9th Degree Black Belt.
Master Kohler is the founder of Skyline Taekwon-Do in Salt Lake City, Utah and has been teaching TaeKwon-Do since 1991. He is an International Instructor and a Class “A” Certified Referee. Master Kohler was President of the Yom Chi Taekwon-Do Association from 2014 to 2016 and served as a member of the YCTA Board of Trustees from 1999 through 2018. He currently erves as the YCTA Utah State Technical Director.
Master Kohler competed nationally and internationally from 1990 through 2000. He is a 1996 Pan American TaeKwon-Do Championship Bronze Medalist, a 2000 Utah Summer Games Gold Medalist, and the 1st place winner of TaeKwon-Do championships in Utah, Nevada, California, and New Mexico.
