I watched most of the first season and I did enjoy bits and pieces within but overall I found it kinda annoying, too millennially ( for lack of a less polarizing term). The new season has had a much more timeless feeling to the stories and humour. I have to say that it's become much funner and more enjoyable and I would say it is a huge improvement. I would rate six for the first season, and 7.5-8 for this one. I hope the show does keep up in this new fashion.

Located in the heart of the Pacific Flyway, Yolo Bypass Wildlife Area's approximately 16,600 acres is a haven for fish, waterfowl, shorebirds and wading birds, neotropical migratory birds, raptors, invertebrates, snakes, turtles, toads, and bats. Type A: Yolo Bypass Wildlife Area has restricted hunter access during waterfowl and pheasant hunting seasons. Adult hunters are required to purchase a Type A hunting pass in advance in order to exchange for an entry permit.

Approximately 7,900 acres of wetland and upland habitat are open to waterfowl and upland game hunting. Hunting is only permitted Saturday, Sunday, and Wednesday during waterfowl season and every day during the September dove season. All hunters must check in at the hunter check station to obtain an entry permit.

Reservations: Available during the waterfowl and pheasant seasons. Hunters without reservations may register at the Wildlife Area office at 45211 County Road 32B in Davis between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays for Wednesday and Saturday hunt days. Lottery for Sunday hunt days will be conducted at the hunter check station all day until 7:00 p.m on Saturdays. Hunters without reservations or lottery numbers will be assigned first-come, first-served numbers beginning 2.5 hours before shooting time at the hunter check station, which is located within the bypass. YOLO is an American-Australian adult animated television series created by Michael Cusack for Cartoon Network's nighttime programming block Adult Swim, and streaming in Australia on Stan as an exclusive.[2] The series is loosely adaptated from Cusack's web series of the same name. The first season, entitled YOLO: Crystal Fantasy premiered on August 10, 2020; the pilot was aired on April 1, 2020 as a part of Adult Swim's annual April Fools' Day event alongside another project of Cusack's, Smiling Friends.[3][4] A second season titled YOLO: Silver Destiny was slated to air on January 16, 2023 on Adult Swim but was delayed to January 23, 2023.[5][6][7][8] On October 12, 2023, it was announced the series was renewed for a third season titled YOLO: Rainbow Trinity.[9]

Michael Cusack's YOLO series has had quite a history. Originally starting as a pair of web shorts, the Australian adventures of the party girls Rachel and Sarah would subsequently hit television in the form of YOLO: Crystal Fantasy. The brief Adult Swim series introduced Cusack's off-beat humor to a mass audience, where it was a moderate critical success. Following the success of his other series, Smiling Friends, a second season of YOLO would eventually be developed and aired throughout early 2023. As of Mar. 5th, YOLO: Silver Destiny has concluded its televised run.

Silver Destiny brought the same unhinged Aussie humor we've come to associate with Cusack's work. Still, at the same time, it introduced a set of significant shakeups to the episodic series. Aside from adopting a more serialized format and slicker animation, we saw the show's cast of characters get more depth when tackling genuine relationship troubles. So, while we're still a ways away from the announcement of a third season, we'd like to ask: what could we expect from a potential third season of YOLO?

Arguably the most significant change that YOLO: Silver Destiny brought to the table is the adoption of serialized storytelling. While season one of YOLO briefly experimented with the idea by building up to a grandiose two-part finale, season two opted to tell a grander story right from the get-go.

Starting as a typical night of partying for Sarah and Rachel, the two find themselves at odds with each other after they're shown a vision of their future selves. In an effort to find some happiness and improve her life, Sarah decides to start a garden that gradually encompasses more of her time and effort throughout the season. Rachel, conversely, sees herself depicted as a sword-wielding empress, warned that her ways would eventually lead to nebulous destruction. Instead of veering from this path, Rachel sees Sarah's hobby as a means to keep the duo apart. Her toxicity eventually splits the duo in half, leading us to wonder how they could get back together. It's a story that gradually builds upon itself in eleven-minute increments before jumping to a gargantuan forty-five-minute finale. To briefly summarize it, the duo find themselves emotionally maturing and reuniting over a family dinner of fish and chips, courtesy of Pelekeen Mischief Maker.

But the finale also closed out a season-long story surrounding Lucas. Originally a joke character that embodied the "internet nice guy" trope, Lucas was at the center of a story arc involving the creation of a love potion. His obsession with Sarah and pseudo-intellectual personality presented him as a tertiary antagonist, culminating in a lengthy journey through trials to finish his potion. While the trials would lead to the deaths of others like him, he finds himself surviving due to a growing recognizance of how he comes off to others. During the reunion, he realizes that forcing someone to fall in love via manipulation against their interests is a scummy thing to do, on top of apologizing for how he may have come off before. It's a satisfying and definitive end to the series, should a third season fail to air.

Silver Destiny, in a lot of ways, felt like a logical progression for the animated series. The animation is noticeably smoother with more detailed environments and expressions. The episode "Chaise in the City" was a notable highlight for many, melding two incredibly different styles in a long dream that highlighted the growing divide between Sarah and Rachel. On top of that, the series introduced more multiple live-action segments that further add to the visual variety the series is becoming known for. You might even spot Michael Cusack himself if you have a keen eye. Season two has noticeably improved upon the admittedly-manic first season in spades, leading us to believe that a third season would only improve things further.

Based on Cusack's desire to turn the series into a trilogy, season three will hopefully take the time to see Sarah and Rachel become independent adults. The series has been increasingly flirting with this idea throughout its run, and turning Lucas into a more rounded individual would make it the perfect send-off for our favorite Aussie girls. While season three is yet to be announced, Cusack certainly won't be hurting for work. YOLO, the animated series created by one of the minds behind Smiling Friends, is coming back to Adult Swim next year for Season 2 with a new title to boot! Although series creators Zach Hadel and Michael Cusack really took over the world with the surprise debut of Smiling Friends' debut season earlier this year, Cusack had made quite the impact with Adult Swim animation fans before that with the debut of his own series, YOLO: Crystal Fantasy. This had introduced fans to a pair of quirky friends going on outlandish adventures, and now they're coming back for a whole new season!

Adult Swim has officially announced that YOLO will be returning for Season 2, now titled YOLO: Silver Destiny. This second season of the series is scheduled to premiere on Adult Swim on Sunday, January 22, 2023 at midnight and will be streaming on HBO Max the next day. Adult Swim also confirmed that the first two episodes of YOLO: Silver Destiny will be premiering on January 22nd with one episode a week following after. Series creator Michael Cusack teases what's to come for the central duo in Season 2 as such, "In season two we find Sarah and Rachel continuing on their quest for good times and positive vibes. I can't wait for fans to join them on all their strange, new Wollongong adventures as their fantasies become their destinies."
