Main Responsibilities at Teraco Data Environment

Specializing in driving revenue growth through expanded interconnection partner strategies and enhancing revenue portfolios, my role encompasses a range of strategic responsibilities. This includes prospecting and securing new business opportunities, advising on market penetration strategies, and overseeing the entire product lifecycle from planning through execution. I actively contribute to product development initiatives, conduct thorough market analysis to stay ahead of competition, and ensure optimal infrastructure maintenance to support peak performance in the interconnected digital services landscape. My passion lies in achieving targets and delivering strategic solutions that drive success in this dynamic industry.

My main responsibilities revolve around building and cultivating global brands while driving revenue growth across existing market segments, particularly within the Global Cloud and Content sectors. I am dedicated to expanding our interconnect partner strategy to grow our revenue portfolio, fostering new business relationships through direct prospecting and referral network collaborations. Advising on target market penetration strategies is a crucial part of my role, where I estimate opportunities in the short, medium, and long terms. I stay informed by researching current business drivers, strategic objectives, investment areas, and key stakeholders to inform client account strategies effectively.

Managing product lifecycles is integral to my responsibilities, overseeing strategic planning and executing tactical activities for products such as Africa Cloud Exchange and NAPAfrica. I bring new features to market by analyzing product requirements and ROI, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams for successful implementation. Utilizing Teraco's interconnection and peering performance data, I identify optimization opportunities and contribute to pre-sales processes by crafting optimal solution designs for clients. Assessing market competition and meeting assigned targets for interconnection and product segments further define my role, ensuring that infrastructure maintenance is diligently managed to meet operational requirements and maintain service excellence.

NAPAfrica

Documentation and updating of the NAPAfrica policies and procedures.
Increase the number of ASN networks connecting to NAPAfrica.
Produce marketing material for the NAPAfrica website, social media profiles, newsletters, and marketing emails.
CRM of existing and potential peers.
Technical involvement in the network architecture, traffic monitoring, capacity planning, and deployment.
Strategic relationship management and negotiation with CDN's, Carriers, and peering networks.
Business Development of the NAPAfrica IXP.
Assisting in daily operations including allocation of ports, administration, documentation, level 1 support, etc.

Africa Cloud Exchange

Documentation and updating of product policies and procedures.
Increase the number of connections and networks connecting to ACX.
Negotiate and collaborate with new cloud providers to deploy and connect locally.
Produce marketing material for the Teraco website, social media profiles, newsletters, and marketing emails.
Identify business development opportunities within the African market and improve service offerings.
Oversee the development of the Africa Cloud Exchange Portal:

Providing functionality requirements and assisting with UI design
Project Management of the Sprints
Testing of the portal

Teraco Tech Days

Identify technical topics of interest to the tech community.
Logistical planning and hosting of the webinar event.
Increase the number of registrations for each online event.
Host a minimum of 9 events per year.
Produce marketing material for the Teraco website, social media profiles, newsletters, and marketing emails.
