Social Justice and Inclusion for adolescent girls and Teen mothers

Through our #Empower Her Program, We are committed to promoting youth economic empowerment, with a special focus on teenage mothers in urban poor communities through entrepreneurial mentorship, financial literacy and Capacity building. This empowerment is essential in helping to break cycles of poverty, support their children, and regain control over their futures. The #Empower Her Program not only fosters self-reliance but also builds a network of resilient young women who uplift and inspire each other 

At YOHEP Uganda, we believe that education is the cornerstone of girl child empowerment. Through education, young women can compete on equal footing with men, amplify their political voices, drive meaningful change, and serve as role models for future generations. We are committed to addressing barriers to girls’ education to ensure that every girl has the opportunity to reach her full potential. 

Access to accurate SRHR information is essential in promoting safe sexual practices, while advocating for good menstrual health and hygiene is key to ensuring the well-being and dignity of girls in urban poor communities 

At YOHEP Uganda, we believe in bridging the gap between academic knowledge and real-world challenges through youth mentorship programs for university students. By organizing field visits, we provide students with hands-on experience in community work, allowing them to apply theoretical concepts to practical situations. This approach not only enhances their academic learning but also nurtures future leaders and change-makers committed to driving impactful solutions.
