Biography
Currently, I am working as a postdoctoral researcher in the European Research Council (ERC) PLANETAFELSIC project (Advanced ADG 101141259) at Geosciences Environnement Toulouse (GET), University of Toulouse, IRD, CNRS, France, under the mentorship of Dr HDR Anastassia Borisova (https://sites.google.com/view/erc-adg-planetafelsic/accueil).
I hold a PhD in Physics from the School of Physical Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University, under the supervision of Prof. Pawan Kumar Kulriya (https://www.jnu.ac.in/content/pkkulriya). I was awarded the prestigious Prime Minister's Research Fellowship (PMRF) in December 2021 by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, to support my doctoral research at the School of Physical Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University. My research area is experimental condensed matter physics and materials research under extreme conditions. We explore the phase transitions and structural stability of materials under extreme conditions of high pressure, irradiation, and temperature. My research includes high-pressure research using piston-cylinder apparatus and the Paris-Edinburgh press, synchrotron X-ray techniques, Diamond Anvil Cell (DAC) experiments, crystallography, X-ray diffraction, X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAFS), damage recovery, high-temperature XRD, ion implantation, etc.
