I am Yoga Suhas, a PhD candidate at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU), formerly Ryerson University. I received a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication from Visvesvaraya Technological University (2014) and a Master of Engineering in Artificial Intelligence (AI) from TMU (2021).
I specialize in Artificial Intelligence, the Internet of Things (IoT), Network Resource Management, and Machine Learning (ML)- assisted Network Traffic Management. Currently, I am working on Network Resource Optimization to maximize the Quality of Service (QoS) for Metaverse network traffic delivery.
My career has been a journey of growth, transitioning from a role as an impactful IoT Architect to academia. In my role as an IoT Architect, I led the development of IoT stacks for industries like dairy and hospitality, directly impacting over 200,000 customers with innovative solutions. This transition has allowed me to build strong research skills, leading to publications in conferences such as the IEEE World Forum on the Internet of Things (WF-IoT) and the flagship IEEE Global Communications Conference (GLOBECOM), and journals such as Electronic Commerce Research and Applications (ECRA) and IEEE Transaction on Network and Service Management (IEEE TNSM). As a peer reviewer for scientific journals such as IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communication (IEEE TWCOM), Electronic Commerce Research and Applications, and the Journal of Supercomputing, I actively contribute to the academic community.
