Yan Shin Aung[8], known by his stage name YNZO, is a Burmese hip-hop rapper in the trap genre. He co-founded the collective TRAPHOUSE Vision[9], an initiative that marks his significant contribution to the music scene. Born on September 23, 1998, in Yangon, Myanmar, his journey into music sparked by a fortuitous encounter with a hip-hop track on FM radio. During his early years, YNZO immersed himself in the vibrant local culture, particularly within the Yangon underground’s music scene. By 2015, he was refining his craft, participating in street cyphers and freestyle battles, which notably influenced the development of his unique style.[10]
In the beginning of 2025[11], YNZO made a decisive move in his career. On January 22, 2025, he joined forces with fellow artists HeX[12], LE’O[13], and SLICK[14] to co-found TRAPHOUSE VISION. Key collaborations during this time included "Lost in Shadows" (with LE’O)[16], "LWAL " (with HeX & SLICK)[17], and "LIFE" (with SLICK)[18]. On May 31, 2025, YNZO released his first official solo single, Side Mind[19],[20] marking a shift towards more formal professional distribution with TRAPHOUSE VSN[21] . A key moment arrived on October 5, 2025, with the launch of his debut project, the "Stairs Way EP." [22]Released under the TRAPHOUSE VSN Label, this project represented a significant milestone, introducing the authentic sound of Burmese Trap to a broader audience.
