Storage uses a local database (Isar) on your device.
On Android, automatic system backup is disabled (android:allowBackup="false").

YMusic displays ads (banner, interstitial, rewarded, native) through ironSource LevelPlay.

The app supports GDPR and CCPA privacy settings for the ad network.
The app can connect to third-party music sources through plugins. Those services have their own privacy policies. YMusic does not store your login credentials for those services.
If you enable scrobbling:
