Working at the Garden

Comfortable garden gloves

Water or beverage (we have some bottles of water in the garden shed)

Dress appropriately for garden work and use sunscreen

Don't bring garden tools - we have plenty to choose from in the shed

After you are familiar with the garden, we welcome volunteers coming on their own time to help

Tell the coordinators you may be working on your own at the garden and what general tasks you may be doing

If you need to access the shed for tools, ask one of the coordinators for the combination to the lock (please don't share)

Use the "Leave a Note" page to tell us what you did

If you did open the shed, record your volunteer hours on the clipboard and be sure to lock up the shed when you leave
