We are so excited that you have decided to join us as a Golfer in the Upper East TN Young Life Golf Tournament this year.  We are truly grateful for your help in inviting more individuals to support this ministry that is making a positive impact on the lives of students in our community.

The annual Upper East Tennessee Young Life Golf Tournament will take place on Monday, May 13th, 2024 at the Johnson City Country Club. The tournament format is a classic, 4-person scramble - teams will tee off at 12:30 pm with a celebration dinner and award ceremony at 5pm to conclude the evening.  If you haven’t already, please use this link to register for the tournament. 

As in previous years, we are counting on key individuals like you to help make this event successful. The minimum entry fee remains at $1,000 per golfer, and we encourage participants to raise support as they have in the past. How exactly does golfer fundraising work?

During registration, golfers will select their fundraising Tier (broken down here).  Once registered, each golfer will receive a personalized fundraising/giving link where they can collect donations towards their overall fundraising goal. This link will keep track of how much you have raised overall and can be used to make personal payments as well as to have personal sponsors make payments towards your goal.  

How do I ask people to support me in my fundraising goal? 

While asking for donations can be intimidating- what an amazing oportunity it is to invite the people in your life to hear about and support an amazing organization! Here you can find some sample scripts and helpful  wording for how you might ask someone to support you towards your fundraising goal.

I don't have a "Captain" or a specified team, can I still register? 

Absolutely, we would love to have you! Once we have collected registrants we will assign you to a Captain/Team and ensure that you have all you need to succeed on Tournament day. 

Can I donate past my designated fundraising Tier? 

Absolutely! All proceeds are greatly appreciated and will go towards supporting Young Life in its mission to introduce teenagers to Christ and help them grow in their faith.
