I am Ylli, a fourth year PhD candidate at Emory University working under the supervision of Dr. Shanshuang Yang. My research interest are in Quasiconformal and Quasisymmetric mappings, Geometric function theory and Analysis on Metric Spaces.

Before coming to Emory, I obtained my BSc in Math at TU Berlin. You can find my thesis on Discrete Confocal Praboloids here.

Miscellenea and Outreach

  • I help organize the mathematics directed reading program at Emory University. In addition, I have mentored undergraduate students in topics such as Topological Manifolds, Dynamical System and ODE, Calculus of Variations.

  • I help organize the Emory Math Circle at Emory University, and I have had the role of an instructor or assistant since Fall 2023.
