蔵本モデルを題材に，巨視的な観測量（秩序変数）の時系列からモデルパラメータの推定を行い，秩序変数と確率過程を用いた縮約についても議論しました．推定はベイズ推論で行い，レプリカ交換モンテカルロ法による事後分布と周辺尤度の計算を行っています．

双安定な振動子に周期外力とフィードバックを組み合わせて与えると，振動停止現象(quenching)が起こることを明らかにしました．解析には平均化法を用い，系の分岐構造を数値的に調べました．

メトロノームの同期現象と振動停止現象(quenching)に関して，弱非線形解析と数値計算の2通りの手法で分岐図を作成しました．また，mechanical oscillator systemでこれまであまり着目されなかった，異相同期解(out of phase synchronization)やうなり様の解(beat-like solution)についても，数値的な分岐解析を行いました (Fig. 5,6)．

ウイルス・免疫間の非対称な相互作用を扱った数理モデル (Nowak & May, J. Theor. Biol., 1992.) を題材に，(1)変異ウイルス間の増殖率の同期，(2)感染初期のウイルス量の振動，の2点を詳細に解析しました．特に，発散する解に対して安定性解析を行った点が特徴です．
