I am a Post-doctoral researcher at the Institute for Chinese Studies, Freie Universität Berlin, working on the ERC project 'Digital Governance in China.' My research interests include digital governance, political communication, public opinions, (anti)corruption, and gender politics in authoritarian regimes, with regional expertise in China.
My dissertation, "Anti-Corruption, The Mass Media, and Political Support in China," uses cutting edge research methods to shed light on how authoritarian regimes use the mass media to address state-society conflicts, and how political elites use mass media as a signaling device.
