CDSE E8065, University of Mannheim (Spring 2024): Introduction to environmental science of air pollution

Course Content: The objective of this interdisciplinary course is to provide students with fundamental knowledge of the atmospheric environment which will help them to increase the scientific rigor of their research projects in environmental and health economics. The course will introduce students to (i) the basic chemical and physical behaviors of air pollutants, (ii) the impacts of pollution exposure to public health, (iii) state-of-the art model tools used in research related to the atmospheric environment, and (iv) relevant data sources and products.
