Description: This piece explores the structure of Neoclassical architecture, namely Frederick’s Church from the 1800s. In this painting, I focused on classic elements such as the Corinthian Column and individual statues that decorated the church, appreciating the historical craftsmanship. I also explored how light and shadow define form and how tones and colors change in the shadows. The process trained both my observational discipline and patience in capturing the details of the complex structure.

Description: This painting originated from a family trip in Canada, portraying Emerald Lake in Yoho National Park. It explores the relationship between vibrant colors and their complementary hues in nature, as well as the lake's fluidity and reflections.

Description: This painting depicts a snowy scene at Big Bear Ski Resort, a place tied to many of my childhood memories. Each winter, my family would rent a cabin there, making it a cherished tradition. Through this piece, I explored the harmony between various shades of blue to capture the natural interplay of color in snow and sky, experimenting with how relative hues evoke atmosphere and emotion.
