Participants are required to submit an abstract to be able to present a poster or an oral presentation. The abstract must be prepared before registration as you will submit it along with the registration information. While submitting, you can indicate if you wish your abstract to be considered for a poster, oral presentation, or both. However, your abstract will only be selected for one of the two.
The abstracts must be written according to a template that can be downloaded here.
All the abstracts must be submitted before August 21st, 2023 when the abstract submission closes.Â
You may make a special request to submit an abstract later than that but it may not be considered for a poster teaser or a presentation.
All posters should be in portrait mode only. There is no particular format or size for the poster but it should not be bigger than A0 (84.1 cm x 118.9 cm) size.
Information on the poster gallery will be provided later. The official photographer at the event will not take pictures of any posters but stickers indicating that you don't want your poster to be photographed or shared on the internet will be provided.
The best poster will be judged by a committee of peers from the organising committee.
Poster teasers are short presentations to advertise your poster. You must indicate while registering if you wish your abstract to be considered for a poster teaser. We will select 10 abstracts for the poster teaser presentation. If you are selected, you will be informed by email.
All poster teasers should comprise ONLY one slide and the presentation itself should NOT be longer than two minutes. You can watch a short tutorial on how to prepare a poster teaser here.
The poster teaser will not have any bearing on the best poster prize.
Participants must indicate during registration if they wish their abstract to be considered for a Postdoc/PhD talk. We will select 10 speakers from the abstracts. If you are selected, you will be informed by email.
Each speaker should prepare their presentation preferably in Microsoft PowerPoint. The presentation should NOT be longer than 10 minutes. Two minutes after each presentation will be allotted for short questions. There will be plenty of opportunities to have longer discussions during the poster mingle and breaks.
A jury of peers from the organising committee will select the best presentation for an award.
