We are broadly interested in the flow of charge and electrocal energy that drives both modern technologies, such as energy storage devices, and biological processes that sustain life. 

We focus on electrified interfaces, developing electrochemical and nanophotonic materials, and advancing in situ spectroscopic tools to understand and control interfacial charge transfer processes in energy conversion and biological systems.
