I mistakenly believed that taking notes involved writing down every detail of a conversation or other event that you intend to interpret verbatim. However, it involves writing down important information that we sometimes struggle to recall in our memory.
And even writing small elements of the information can be a little hard, there are some words that are long and when writing it can distract you from listening to the speaker and miss what they are saying, so with her exercises with the numbers and with her explanation, I learned that it is not mandatory to use words, you can use symbols, abbreviated words, numbers, letters, whatever you feel more comfortable with.
So this is a great technique that must be practiced in order to take the most of it and deliver better and aqurate interpretations. To sum up, I enjoyed learning about this technique.
