I was born and raised in Beijing, China. My Chinese name is 唐怡琦. I came to the US when I was 15 for high school, then, went on to complete my Bachelor's degree in mathematics and economics at Davidson College in Davidson, NC. 

Outside of academia, I enjoy spending time with my family (husband and 4-year-old daughter) and our puppy (10-month-old Great Pyrenees). We like to spend time outdoors; depending on the season, that might be skiing, skating, hiking, or boating.
