Yingyun (Scott) Lin
Agricultural and Resource Economist
Welcome to my website!
I am Yingyun Lin, a PhD student in Applied Economics at Auburn University and working as a graduate research assistant under the supervision of Dr. Mykel Taylor.
My research interests fall within the intersection of agricultural, environmental and land resource economics. I have been working on research projects related to climate change adapation, land use patterns change and farmland market in the US. I am interested in adopting geospatial data (e.g. satellite and remote sensing data) and other large-scale data to conduct empirical econometric analysis.
I obtained a MA in Agricultural Economics from National Taiwan University and double bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Information Management from Shih Hsin University in Taipei, Taiwan.
