Hi, welcome to my homepage.
I am Ying-Jen (穎任) Yang (楊).
Some knew me as Peter.
I am from a small town called Xinshe (新社)
in Taichung (臺中), Taiwan (臺灣).
I am currenly a Postdoc Associate in Prof. Ken Dill's group
at the Laufer Center for Physical and Quantitative Biology
in Stony Brook University.
I received my Ph. D. (2022) in Applied Mathematics
from University of Washington
under the advisory of Prof. Hong Qian.
I got both my B. Sci. (2014) and M. Sci. (2016) in Physics
from National Taiwan University
under the co-advisory of
Dr. Chun-Chung Chen and Prof. C. K. Chan.
My primary research interest is in the statistical physics and thermodynamic force theories of stochastic dynamics in complex systems. Recently, I am interested in applying our newly developed path entropic force theories to living systems. Here is my CV.
