Ying FAN

I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of Building and Real Estate, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Prior to joining PolyU, I was a Research Fellow at the Institute of Real Estate and Urban Studies, National University of Singapore. 

My research interests include urban economics, real estate economics, and economic policy. I have conducted empirical investigations and equilibrium optimization to analyze underlying mechanisms and inform policy design, addressing critical topics such as urban renewal and microstructure, urban dynamics under platform economy, public housing systems and city welfare, as well as inclusive and resilient urban growth.
