The Yin Yoga course is designed to introduce the fundamentals as well as practices associated with Yin Yoga, a slow, meditative type of yoga that concentrates on stretching deeply and prolonged poses. The Yin Yoga practice targets the ligaments, fascia joints, ligaments, and the deeply connective tissues and not only muscles, which makes it an ideal complement to more active (Yang) styles of yoga.

The history and philosophy (influences of Taoism along with Traditional Chinese Medicine)
Yin and Yang. Yang styles of yoga
The importance of surrender, stillness and mindfulness
Anatomy of connective tissue and fascia
2. Postures and Practice
The most important Yin yoga poses as well as their modifications
Affective alignment and practice in a safe manner
Props are used to support the performance (bolsters blocks, straps, bolsters)
Timing and sequencing (poses are usually kept for 3-5 minutes or more)
3. Energetic and Mindfulness Components
An introduction to the theory of meridian (TCM)
Chakras as well as subtle energy system (in some classes)
Meditation, breathing and breathwork
