I am an Assistant Professor at the Ivey Business School at Western University. I use diverse methods such as experiments, field studies, archival documentary analysis, and design science to understand the judgement and behaviour of participants in the capital markets, including investors, auditors, and regulators. My research has been published in Accounting, Organizations and Society, Auditing: A Journal of Practice and Theory, Contemporary Accounting Research, Journal of Business Ethics, and Accounting Forum. I have received SSHRC (Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council) funding for my ongoing projects.
Prior to completing a Ph.D. at Smith School of Business, Queen's University, I worked at Deloitte's Toronto office where I obtained CPA, CA designation. I received Bachelor of Commerce (high distinction) from University of Toronto's Rotman Commerce, specializing in Accounting with a minor in Economics.
