He was a research assistant professor at the ECE department of Virginia Tech with Prof. Lamine Mili's research group during 2021. He was a postdoc associate at the same institute during 2019-2020 and also received his Ph.D. degree from Virginia Tech on December, 2018. He did the computation internship at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Livermore, CA, and power engineer internship at ETAP - Operation Technology, Inc., Irvine, California, in 2018 and 2015, respectively. His research interests include power system uncertainty quantification, uncertainty inversion, and decision-making under uncertainty, etc. He has authored/ co-authored more than 30 peer-reviewed publications.

He serves as the Associate Editor for the journal of IET Generation, Transmission & Distribution since 2020 and the Associate Editor for the journal of IET Renewable Power Generation since 2021. He is the Co-Chair of the IEEE Task Force on Power System Uncertainty Quantification and Uncertainty-Aware Decision-Making. He is also an IEEE senior member.
