SAFE Leadership Programme (SLP) is a 6 to 9 months’ programme where the participants will be given the chance to gain hands-on, valuable experience and knowledge by being part of a team that organises actuarial and financial related events.
To develop soft skills such as leadership, teamwork and communication skills among participants.
To provide opportunities for participants to engage with the industrial practitioners.
To provide a platform for interactions between participants from different courses and intakes.
Specific, thought-out events will be assigned to each group and leaders will be handling the given project under heavy guidance of the committees.
A clear, concise direction will be given to facilitate leaders in organising their own events while still under effective guidance of the committees.
The liberative, creative autonomy will be granted to leaders to organise their own events while still under minimal yet effective guidance of the committees.
My team currently planning to host a farewell ceremony to mark the end of the SAFE’s Leadership Programme and to farewell the 2020/2021 committee board for a 9-month journey. This event was planned and scheduled on the coming July 2021. The event also aims to provide bonding sessions for SAFE Leadership Programme Leaders and to show appreciation as well as to farewell the 2020/2021 committee board. Due to the constraint of the current situation, which is the increase of confirmed cases of COVID-19, me and my team as the Project Executive of Events & Sports Department have to draft and propose some event proposal that suits the best situation. We wish to give all of our SAFE's Leadership Programme leaders and the committee board a good and memorable ending.
