Overview
My research focuses on physics/engineering-informed machine learning for quality control in advanced manufacturing systems. Specifically, I have concentrated on integrating physics-based knowledge and engineering expertise into machine learning models to enhance quality control and improvement in advanced composite manufacturing and joining processes, with emphasis on manufacturing process modeling and in-service non-destructive inspection throughout the product life cycle.
