I am a Ph.D. candidate in Management Science/Operations Management at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. My committee chair is René Caldentey.
I am broadly interested in dynamic learning and optimization, with a focus on applications in managing marketplaces and online platforms. Specifically, I have worked on the following topics:
- sequential experimental design, with applications to preference learning;
- learning against strategically manipulated information, with applications to market making;
- online demand fulfillment for e-commerce platforms.
In my job market paper, I study how to individualize the display sets to efficiently extract customer preference information from their choices. My dissertation committee consists of René Caldentey (Chair), John R. Birge, Bora N. Keskin, Christopher T. Ryan, and Linwei Xin.
