I am an Assistant Professor of Climate Economics at the Nicholas School of the Environment at Duke University.
My research focuses on urban resilience to environmental risks. I integrate applied economics with new data and data science technologies to understand how adaptations of people and places shape the economic and distributional impacts of urban environmental risks. My most recent research agenda is on climate resilient infrastructure and real estate.
I am recruiting PhD students and postdoctoral researchers to begin in Fall 2026. If you're interested, please get in touch.
