Yichun Fan

Bio

I am PhD Candidate in Urban Economics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. I am also a graduate researcher at the MIT Center for Real Estate and Sustainable Urbanization Lab, where I lead research efforts in climate-resilient real estate

I conduct research in urban and environmental economics. My research focuses on enhancing urban resilience to leading environmental and health risks through the utilization of urban big data, computational methods, and economic analysis. My current research agenda is to understand the interplay between human behavior, built environment, and economic systems in collectively shaping urban climate resilience.
