I have been a teaching assistant at three different universities: the University of Toronto, National Taiwan University, and Soochow University (Taiwan). I have taught classes ranging from 10 to 150 students at various levels, from introductory to advanced undergraduate courses. I have prepared course outlines for the following general classes: Knowledge and Reality, and Persons, Minds, and Bodies.
My teaching interests are broad. I have served as a teaching assistant for many introductory courses at the University of Toronto and National Taiwan University, including Symbolic Logic, Metaphysics, Epistemology, Philosophy of Language, Ethics, Law and Morality, Death and Dying, and Value theory. These are sample handouts from Knowledge and Reality and Law and Morality. This is a document with tips for philosophical writing.
I also enjoy teaching philosophy to non-majors. At the University of Toronto, I have taught courses such as Critical Reasoning and Philosophy in Everyday Life regularly.Â
