If you want a complete, factory-fitted solution to seal the drain holes on your Chevrolet or GMC pickup bed and keep out water and debris, choose YIBEICO 7Pcs; if you need a specific replacement clamp to secure an existing tonneau cover on a Ford F-150 without buying a whole new system, choose splash n color SplashNColor 4. These two products serve entirely different mechanical functions within the world of truck accessories, and confusing them would lead to a wasted purchase. One is a comprehensive kit designed for sealing gaps in Silverado and Sierra beds, while the other is a targeted hardware fix for F-150 owners dealing with a missing or broken clamp on their bed cover.
• YIBEICO 7Pcs: Its biggest strength is providing a full 7-piece kit that perfectly matches the oval drain openings on 2014–2026 Chevy and GMC trucks, effectively hiding unsightly holes; its trade-off is that it is strictly incompatible with any brand outside the specified GM lineup.
• splash n color SplashNColor 4: Its biggest strength is offering an exact plastic replica of the original aluminum clamp pattern to restore security to a Ford F-150 tonneau cover when one piece is lost; its trade-off is that it requires the user to supply their own M8x60 bolts as they are not included in the box.
• Who each pick is for: The YIBEICO kit is for GM owners looking to upgrade their truck's appearance and weatherproofing, while the SplashNColor pack is for Ford owners who need a quick, low-cost repair for a specific attachment failure.
The YIBEICO 7Pcs Upgrade Rubber Truck Bed Plug Kit is engineered specifically for a singular, high-volume use case: sealing the drain holes found on the bed of Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra trucks from model years 2014 through 2026. This includes the 1500, 1500 LTD, 2500 HD, and 3500 HD models in 4-door configurations. If you drive one of these vehicles, you know that the factory design leaves oval-shaped openings in the bed floor to let water escape during washing or rain. While functional, these holes can be aesthetically unpleasing and allow sand, dirt, and road grime to accumulate inside the bed, potentially causing corrosion or noise over time. This kit addresses that directly by filling those voids with durable rubber plugs.
What makes this product stand out in the market is its precision fitment. The manufacturer emphasizes that these are custom-made to match the specific oval opening dimensions of the GM trucks listed. They are designed to replace part number 15891612, ensuring that the physical footprint aligns perfectly with the vehicle's architecture. The kit comes in a set of seven pieces, which is the standard count required to fully seal the drainage points on these particular truck beds. The material is described as high-quality raw rubber, chosen for stability and reliability. Unlike cheaper alternatives that might crack or fade under the sun, these plugs are built to resist deformation and maintain their shape over long periods of exposure to the elements.
This product is ideal for the detail-oriented truck owner who wants their vehicle to look sharp and function flawlessly. The installation process is designed for speed and simplicity; you simply locate the mounting hole, tap the plug into place with a hammer, and it secures instantly. There is no need for complex tools, adhesives, or waiting for glue to cure. Once installed, the black oval-shaped plugs blend seamlessly with the truck bed, eliminating the visual distraction of the holes while creating a barrier against moisture and particulate matter. However, if you drive a Ford, Ram, Toyota, or any other brand, this kit will not work for you. The geometry of the drain holes is too specific to GM designs, making it a non-starter for anyone outside that ecosystem.

In stark contrast to the sealing focus of the YIBEICO kit, the splash n color SplashNColor 4 Pack is a structural component designed for a very specific repair scenario involving Ford F-150 trucks. This product targets owners of the 6.5-foot bed version of the F-150 who utilize a tonneau cover. Over time, the clamps that hold these covers in place can break, get lost, or become damaged, leaving sections of the cover loose or unattached. When a clamp fails, the entire tonneau cover loses its integrity, exposing the cargo area to the elements. This 4-pack provides the individual plastic replacements needed to restore that connection without forcing the owner to buy a brand-new cover system.
The defining feature of the SplashNColor 4 is its adherence to the "original clamp pattern." The manufacturer explicitly states that this plastic replacement copies the design of the original aluminum clamps used by Ford. This fidelity is crucial because the mounting points on the truck bed are fixed; if the replacement clamp does not match the original profile, it will not seat correctly, and the cover will not stay down. By using a thermoplastic construction, the product offers a durable alternative to metal that resists rust and corrosion, though it differs from the aluminum material of the factory part. The box contains four individual clamps, allowing for multiple repairs or future-proofing against further loss.
However, buyers must understand exactly what is—and is not—included in this package. The product is strictly the plastic clamp hardware itself. It does not come with the necessary M8x60 bolts required to fasten the clamp to the truck bed. This is a critical distinction for DIY mechanics. Before attempting to install these clamps, you must have the correct bolt size ready in your garage. The design assumes you have the tools and the fasteners on hand, focusing solely on the missing attachment point. This product is perfect for the hands-on mechanic who just needs to swap out a broken piece to keep their existing tonneau cover functioning. It is not a full-system upgrade, nor does it solve issues related to the cover fabric or rails themselves; it is purely a replacement for the locking mechanism.
• Best for GM Owners (Chevy/GMC): Choose YIBEICO 7Pcs if you own a Silverado or Sierra (2014–2026). The SplashNColor 4 is physically incompatible with GM trucks and serves no purpose for them.
• Best for Ford Owners: Choose splash n color SplashNColor 4 if you have a Ford F-150 with a 6.5-foot bed and a missing tonneau clamp. The YIBEICO kit will not fit a Ford bed.
• Best for Aesthetic Sealing: Choose YIBEICO 7Pcs if your goal is to hide ugly drain holes and prevent dirt/sand from entering the truck bed. The SplashNColor 4 does nothing to seal holes; it only attaches a cover.
• Best for Hardware Repair: Choose splash n color SplashNColor 4 if you have a broken or lost clamp and need to re-secure an existing cover. The YIBEICO kit cannot perform this function.
• Installation Complexity: Both are simple, but YIBEICO requires a hammer and tapping force to seat the rubber plugs, whereas SplashNColor requires a wrench or socket to tighten the M8x60 bolt (which you must supply separately).
• Kit Size vs. Quantity: YIBEICO gives you 7 pieces to cover all drain points on a truck, while SplashNColor gives you 4 clamps specifically for securing a cover at four distinct points.
• Material Composition: YIBEICO uses high-reliability rubber designed to resist fading and deformation in open-bed environments. SplashNColor uses thermoplastic designed to mimic the grip and shape of aluminum factory clamps.
• Value Proposition: YIBEICO offers a complete transformation of the bed's drainage system, while SplashNColor offers a targeted, cost-effective fix for a single point of failure.
I recommend the YIBEICO 7Pcs for car detailing enthusiasts who want to elevate the look and protection of their GM truck. In my opinion, sealing those drain holes is a foundational step in proper truck maintenance that pays dividends in cleanliness and longevity. The ability to stop water and grit from entering the bed is a tangible benefit that improves the overall ownership experience. I would buy this kit myself if I owned a Silverado or Sierra because it solves a visible problem and protects the vehicle's interior from the elements. Conversely, I would only consider the splash n color SplashNColor 4 if I were a Ford owner facing a specific clamp failure, as it is a niche repair part rather than a comprehensive improvement. For general detailing and bed preparation, the YIBEICO kit is the superior choice for its completeness and direct impact on the truck's condition.
No, the YIBEICO 7Pcs kit consists entirely of rubber plugs. Installation relies on friction and a light tap with a hammer to secure them into the existing oval drain holes; no external hardware is needed.
Yes, the SplashNColor 4 pack only includes the plastic clamp bodies. You must source your own M8x60 bolts to fasten the clamps to the truck bed, as the manufacturer does not include them in the box.
No, the SplashNColor 4 is designed exclusively for the clamp pattern of the Ford F-150 6.5-foot box. It will not fit the mounting systems or clamp requirements of a Chevrolet Silverado or GMC Sierra.
According to the product specifications, the high-quality raw materials used are designed for stable performance and high reliability, specifically resisting fading and deformation over long-term use in outdoor conditions.
