Yiannis Fam

I am currently a PhD student at the London School of Geometry and Number Theory. My supervisor is Beth Romano.

Previously, I was an MPhil student at the University of Melbourne where I was supervised by Alex Ghitza and Chenyan Wu. There, I was supported by the Australian Government Research Training Program Scholarship,  as well as the Robert George Williams Scholarship awarded by the University of Melbourne. My thesis title was 'Quaternionic Modular Forms mod p' and can be found under 'Research'.

Before that, I was an undergraduate at the University of Cambridge where I achieved a Distinction in Part III. My Part III essay was on 'Two-Descent on the Jacobian of a Hyperelliptic Curve', under the supervision of Tom Fisher, and can be found under 'Research'.

A copy of my CV can be found here

Research Interests

My interests are in number theory, more specifically aspects of the Langlands program and the representation theory of p-adic groups.
