Call for Abstracts:
Early-career researchers are invited to submit an abstract for oral or poster presentation at the Young Investigators Day on Liquid Biopsy and Translational Biomarkers, organized in partnership with the Italian Society of Liquid Biopsy (SIBIL) and institutions affiliated with A_IATRIS.
The workshop aims to provide PhD students, medical residents, postdoctoral fellows and early-career clinician-scientists with the opportunity to present their research, discuss innovative findings with leading experts, and foster new scientific collaborations.
Eligibility
Applicants must be:
PhD students
Medical residents
Postdoctoral fellows
Early-career researchers or clinician-scientists (under 40)
Scientific Topics
Abstracts should address one of the following areas:
ctDNA and Clinical Decision-Making
Emerging Biomarkers for Translational Oncology
Extracellular Vesicles and Intercellular Communication
CTCs, Proteomics, Metabolites, Multi-Omics and Artificial Intelligence
Abstract Guidelines
Language: English.
Maximum length: 300 words (excluding title and authors).
Title: maximum 20 words.
Authors and affiliations must be provided.
The presenting author must be clearly indicated and short bio-sketch should be provided.
Selection Criteria
Abstracts will be peer-reviewed by the Scientific Committee according to:
Scientific quality
Originality and innovation
Translational relevance
Methodological rigor
Clarity of presentation
The highest-ranked abstracts will be selected for 10-minute oral presentations within the scientific sessions
Young Investigator Awards
Two Young Investigator Awards will be presented to the best oral presentations and two Young Investigator Awards will be presented to the best poster presentation. Evaluation will consider scientific excellence, innovation, translational impact and presentation skills.
