I am a professor, Software Engineering Lab, Department of Computer Science, Graduate School of Information Science and Technology, Osaka University.  I received my master’s degree and Ph.D. degree in information science and technology from Osaka University in 2004 and 2006, respectively. I am a member of the IEEE, IPSJ, IEICE, and JSSST

My research interest lies in program source code analysis.  I would like to offer systematic and comprehensive ways to detect problems in source code and improve source code with lower cost.  Currently, I am concentrating on code clone analysis, software repository mining, refactoring support, software metrics, and automated program repair.  You can find my publication list here.  You can see citations of my publications at Google Scholar and Semantic Scholar
