YG&I Lab (Yonsei Gender and Innovation Lab) studies social stratification and inequalities shaped across our society at the Department of Sociology at Yonsei University, Seoul. 

Social inequality occurs through complex mechanisms by social, economic, and cultural factors at individual, institutional, national, and global levels. Our team consists of researchers and students with various interests such as inequalities in the labor market, gender, and demographic changes which allows us to approach social problems from a variety of perspectives, and enables more convergent research.  

We aim to provide comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge with empirical evidence and contribute to making our society better.
