Registration is now open. It will close on 30 November, 2025.
Participants asking for funding are encouraged to apply by 31 October, 2025.
Decisions regarding participation and funding are expected to be communicated by January 2026.
The registration form is available [here].
We kindly ask to read all the information in this page before starting the registration process!
There is a limited number of places available, so unfortunately we anticipate that we will not be able to accept all registrations.
There is (limited) funding available for accommodation, and we are working on obtaining (partial) funding for travel of younger participants. Please consider to apply for individual travel grants from the relevant funding bodies in your country (some examples can be found in the Outside Funding page).
As is customary for YGGT, all participants will be asked to provide a brief research statement. These statements will be collected in a booklet that will be available during the conference.Â
It is a required part of the registration process to attach the .tex and .pdf files, so prepare them in advance!
The template is available on this page.
Please, follow the instructions in the template, do not change any command (or spacing!), and keep the pdf output under 1 page.
Research statements from YGGT XIII (2025) are available at this link.
Passport holders from some countries qualify for a Visa exemption, and only need a K-ETA (Korean Electronic Travel Authorization).
A list of these countries is available at this link.
Further information about Visa requirements to enter South Korea (and how to apply) can be found on each Embassy's website (e.g. Embassy in the USA).
Please fill in the relevant part of the registration form, and don't hesitate to contact the organizers at yggt2026@gmail.com for any question or request.
Please remember to apply for your Visa or K-ETA plenty of time in advance, once you receive confirmation that you will participate to the conference. It is not uncommon for participants to miss out on conferences because of unexpected delays on visa applications, and planning in advance is very effective for avoiding these situations.
