I am an independent researcher focusing on revolutionizing education, federalism, and youth perspectives in Myanmar. Driven by curiosity and a commitment to understanding complex social and political transitions, I present my findings at international conferences and continuously develop my research skills.
After the 2021 military coup in Myanmar, the peace process has come to a halt, while armed conflicts have intensified and spread across the country. These escalating armed conflicts have significantly impacted people's socioeconomic conditions and civilian lives, leading to greater challenges and hardships. Research papers that focus on the peace process are urgently needed to address these crises and find new solutions to the ongoing conflicts. Therefore, this study aims to explore the impacts of these expanding armed conflicts on youth, examine their challenges, and analyze their perspectives on the peace process.
I am delighted to share that our research paper, "Youth Perspectives on Conflict, Peace, and Revolution: Understanding Myanmar's Peace Process During the Spring Revolution," co-authored with Ko Khun Zaw, was presented at two international conferences.
Conferences:
ASEAS 2025 Annual Conference - September 15-17, 2025
St John's College, University of Cambridge
Spring Flowers International Conference on Myanmar - February 12-15, 2025
Burmese American Community Institute
We are deeply grateful to all the participants who contributed their perspectives and experiences to our study. This research would not have been possible without their voices.
Presenting at these conferences was a truly new and enriching experience. We received many thoughtful questions, which highlighted the importance of bringing youth voices to the global stage. It reminded us of the need to let the world know what young people in Myanmar encounter and believe, and we also received valuable suggestions to strengthen our research moving forward.
We will continue working to amplify youth perspectives on peace, conflict, and revolution in Myanmar, and we are striving to publish this research and develop articles to reach wider audiences.

Our research paper "Revolutionizing basic education: challenges of federal education in Myanmar" was featured in the Brazilian Journal of Development Vol.10 No.11 (2024). It presents the topic of revolutionary basic education among the challenges of Myanmar's federal education. The Title & Abstract were presented in three languages - English, Portuguese, and Spanish - which is a milestone for us.
In this research, we delve into the significant challenges and potential solutions for transforming the basic education system in Myanmar through a federal approach. Our findings provide valuable insights and recommendations that can pave the way for a more inclusive and effective educational framework.

Conducted during an internship with the Constitutional Federalism Institute (Jul 2023 – Oct 2023), I contributed to data collection, analysis, and report writing in a remote setting. Through this work, I developed valuable insights into federalism and taxation policies specific to Myanmar's context.
