We develop statistical methods for learning from complex data and making informed decisions. Our research spans statistical inference, learning, and computation, bringing together frequentist and Bayesian approaches with applications in biomedical science and precision medicine.
Principal Investigator: Yeonhee Park
I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Statistics at Sungkyunkwan University, South Korea. My research focuses on Bayesian methods, clinical trial design, dimension reduction, multivariate analysis, and precision medicine. In particular, I develop innovative statistical methods for adaptive clinical trials and evidence synthesis, with the goal of improving the efficiency and personalization of biomedical research.
I received my Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of Florida in 2015 and completed my postdoctoral training in the Department of Biostatistics at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Before joining Sungkyunkwan University in 2025, I was an Assistant Professor at the Medical University of South Carolina and subsequently in the Department of Biostatistics and Medical Informatics at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. I also hold an adjunct appointment at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
