About

I am an Assistant Professor of Business Analytics and the Robinson-Lightcap Faculty Fellow at Wake Forest University (WFU). My research interests lie primarily in understanding how information and interdependent decision-making shape the societal value of digital systems. I pursue these questions in healthcare information technology (HIT) and digital platforms, with growing attention to the role of artificial intelligence (AI). My current research focuses on three connected themes:

• Information Sharing and Coordination: How information exchange shapes coordination among participants with interdependent incentives and decisions.

• Participation and Decision Support: How information and digital tools influence participation and support decision-making.

• Design and Governance of Digital Services: How system design and policy shape collective outcomes and the distribution of benefits and costs.

In studying these topics, I use game-theoretic modeling, applied econometrics, machine learning, and optimization. 

Before joining WFU, I served as an Assistant Professor of Information Systems at Virginia Commonwealth University. I received my Ph.D. in Management Science with Information Systems concentration from University of Texas at Dallas.  I obtained my master's degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Texas A&M University, and obtained bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Inha University, South Korea.
