About

I am currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Systems at the School of Business, Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). Starting in July 2024, I will be joining Wake Forest University (WFU) as an Assistant Professor of Business Analytics. My research interests lie primarily in the area of Healthcare Information Technology (HIT), Digital Platform, and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Below, I provide more specific areas of my current research:

In studying these topics, I use game theory, applied econometrics & machine learning, and optimization methods. 

Prior to joining VCU,  I received my Ph.D. in Management Science with Information Systems concentration from University of Texas at Dallas.  I obtained my master's degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Texas A&M University, and obtained bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Inha University, South Korea.
