I am an Assistant Professor of Business Analytics at Wake Forest University (WFU). My research interests lie primarily in the area of Healthcare Information Technology (HIT), Digital Platform, and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Below, I provide more specific areas of my current research:
Value of Information Exchanges in Healthcare,
Data Analytics and AI in Medical Litigation,
Patient-Centric IT to Improve Healthcare Outcomes and Disparities,
Platforms' Entry and Antitrust Regulation,
Multi-Sided Platforms and Competition Strategies,
Decision Support Systems in Social Media Platforms.
In studying these topics, I use game theory, applied econometrics & machine learning, and optimization methods.
Before joining WFU, I served as an Assistant Professor of Information Systems at Virginia Commonwealth University. I received my Ph.D. in Management Science with Information Systems concentration from University of Texas at Dallas. I obtained my master's degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Texas A&M University, and obtained bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Inha University, South Korea.
