Yen-Ming Huang (黃彥銘)

Bio

Yen-Ming Huang is the Founder & CEO of Paramtek Inc., Taipei, Taiwan, where he focuses on developing active multifunction radar for unmanned vehicles and man-portable high-resolution radar for surveillance. He is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Graduate Institute of Communication Engineering (GICE), National Taiwan University (NTU), Taipei, Taiwan, where he teaches graduate courses on signal processing and algorithm design for phased array radar.

Dr. Huang earned his Ph.D. in Communication Engineering from NTU in January 2019. After graduation, he spent six months as a Postdoctoral Researcher at GICE, NTU, contributing to the EU-TW Clear5G project. From August 2019 to December 2020, he worked as a Senior Engineer at Realtek Semiconductor Corp. in Hsinchu, Taiwan, where he designed DSP algorithms for Ethernet PHY chipsets. From January 2021 to January 2025, Dr. Huang was actively involved in the radar technology industry in Taiwan. He served as a Section Manager at Tron Future Tech Inc., where he led the development of portable AESA drone surveillance radar systems. Later, as a Technical Manager at KaiKuTek Inc., he developed DSP algorithms for mmWave MIMO radar system on chip (SoC).

Dr. Huang’s expertise lies in digital signal and data processing for radar and communication systems, encompassing both architectural design and algorithm development. His recent research interests include phased array and MIMO radar module assembly (RMA) system development, digital calibration techniques for hardware non-idealities, and multi-antenna multi-carrier transceiver design.
