Hello! I have been tasked with editing a file. This file is for a type of single-serve packaging (think something like a McDonalds french fry container, or a Pepsi soda can). I believe it was created by a large design firm, and this artwork is for a large multi-national company. I am providing this background in case it helps provide any clues... anyway, when I go to open the AI file, I receive an alert. The alert says that I am trying to open an Adobe Illustrator file that was created using a plugin called "Structural Design Art" (SDImport_MAI19r.aip). Here is the full text from the alert:
If someone can please help me find this plugin, I would greatly appreciate it! I would like to purchase it. I have done a lot of googling, and my searches have been fruitless. We have the same issue in my department and our workaround per Esko Support is to go to the illustrator application icon, right click to get info, and in the info panel select the box for "Open in Rosetta". Launch illy and make your barcode. This is an ESKO plugin issue, not an Adobe one. The app may run slower, so you can go back to deselect "Open in Rosetta" to go back to using the M1 chip's full functionality. (Rosetta is an emulator designed to bridge the transition between Intel and Apple processors). be457b7860
